The Sylvania School District provides a comprehensive K thorugh 12 education which is consistently rated “excellent” by the Ohio Department of Education. We believe that an excellent education system is the foundation for a successful community. The Sylvania School District has 12 elementary, jr high and high schools.Private and parochial schools add another strong component to the area’s educational opportunities. There are several area colleges and universities and various places of worship to enrich the overall community spirit.

Great health care services are another key component to this vibrant community. While Flower Hospital provides top notch services for Sylvania area residents and visitors, ProMedica has many nearby facilities for patient care. The dedicated full time police and fire department are an excellent resource because they put the community’s needs first.
