2022 Road Work
As summer approaches, the Township is planning various resurfacing, drainage, and road maintenance projects.
Residents will see activity on Flanders Road (Alexis Road to the State line), Indian Ridge Road, Cross Trails Road, Crestview Drive, Tallwood Court, Oakhurst Drive, Woodside Trail, Ridgmere Lane, Janet Avenue (west of Brookson Drive to Flanders Road), Brookson Drive, Robinson Road (west of Brookson Drive to Brookson Drive), Cherrington Road, Summerfield Road, and Covert Road. These improvements (about 2.8 miles) are being made through the Township’s annual Ohio Public Works Commission efforts with about 39% of total project costs being grant-funded. Notification will be sent when the projects commence, and improvements are expected to be completed no later than September 11.
The Township will also be completing work on Oak Park Drive, Valley Park Drive, Gradwohl Road (Holstein Road to Central Avenue), Shetland Road (Holstein Road to Central Avenue), Heysler Road (Holstein Road to Central Avenue), Jimson Court (Wood Stream West Plat 14), Mary Creek Lane (Wood Stream West Plat 6), and Bear Creek Drive (Wood Stream West Plat 4). These improvements (about 2.16 miles) are being made with the support of local funds as well as a $180,000 Ohio Department of Transportation Stimulus Grant. Notification will be sent when the projects commence, and improvements are expected to be completed no later than October 1.
