Notice of Intent to Sell

NOTICE OF INTENT TO SELL UNNEEDED, OBSOLETE OR UNFIT FOR USE TOWNSHIP PERSONAL PROPERTY BY INTERNET AUCTION

Be advised that on the 3rd day of January 2023, the Board of Trustees of Sylvania Township adopted a Resolution expressing its intent to sell unneeded, obsolete or unfit for use Township personal property by internet auction. The Township shall contract with GovDeals, Inc. to act as its representative for the purpose of disposing of said property through the www.GOVDEALS.com website. All such property shall be offered for sale pursuant to the Sylvania Township, Lucas County, Ohio’s “On-line Sales – Terms and Conditions” and shall be sold on an “As-Is, Where-Is” basis. All items will be available to the public on GOVDEALS.com for a minimum of ten (15) days.

This notice will be posted on the Sylvania Township, Lucas County, Ohio, webpage (http://www.sylvaniatownship.com) and will be accessible by selecting the link entitled “Notice of Intent to Sell” under the Departments – Administration tab. A complete copy of Resolution 23-004 and the “Online Sales – Terms and Conditions” will be posted along with this notice. A copy of the same will be available for inspection at the office of the Fiscal Officer for Sylvania Township, 4927 N. Holland-Sylvania Road, Sylvania, Ohio 43560 during normal business hours.
